Centralax Plus Ear Drops is a prescription treatment for bacterial infections of the ear, including both the outer (otitis externa) and middle ear (otitis media with tympanostomy tubes). It provides targeted action in inflamed and infected ear canals, delivering relief for both pain and infection.

How It Works

This dual-action formulation contains ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic that disrupts bacterial DNA replication, and fluocinolone acetonide, a corticosteroid that suppresses inflammation and immune response. Together, they reduce the bacterial load and rapidly soothe pain, redness, swelling, and discharge from the ear canal.

Why Choose Centralax Plus Ear Drops

Centralax Plus offers the convenience of a combined antibiotic and anti-inflammatory therapy in one formulation. This reduces the need for multiple medications and helps improve compliance, especially in children. The targeted delivery directly to the site of infection maximises efficacy while minimising systemic exposure and side effects. It’s a well-tolerated treatment option for acute ear infections that require both infection control and anti-inflammatory support.

Important Note

Centralax Plus is for otic (ear) use only and must not be ingested or used in the eyes. It should not be used if the eardrum is perforated unless explicitly advised by a healthcare professional. Discontinue use if signs of hypersensitivity or worsening symptoms occur. Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve earlier.
