Some are so small they can be difficult to see, while others may form clusters that resemble cauliflower-like patches. Treatment focuses on removing visible warts and reducing recurrence, but it does not eliminate the virus itself.
Prevention is possible through safe sexual practices and vaccination. The HPV vaccine protects against the strains most likely to cause genital warts and some cancers. Using condoms reduces the risk of transmission, though it may not completely prevent infection because HPV can affect uncovered skin.
With proper care and understanding, genital warts can be managed effectively. Regular check-ups, safe sexual habits, and vaccination help reduce the risk of infection and support long-term sexual health.
