Differin Gel is a prescription-strength topical treatment used to manage mild to moderate acne. It is effective for various types of acne lesions, including blackheads, whiteheads, papules, and pustules. Differin is suitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years old and is typically used as part of a long-term skincare plan to promote clearer, healthier-looking skin.

How It Works
The active ingredient in Differin is adapalene, a third-generation synthetic retinoid. It works by regulating the turnover of skin cells and preventing the clogging of pores, which is a key contributor to acne formation. Adapalene also has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce the redness and swelling associated with acne breakouts. Unlike some older retinoids, adapalene is more stable in the presence of oxygen and light, making it effective with fewer side effects when used consistently.

Why Choose Differin Gel
Differin is widely recommended by dermatologists for its proven efficacy and tolerability. It is non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, and easy to apply as a once-daily treatment. The gel formulation is lightweight and quickly absorbed, making it suitable for oily or acne-prone skin. Differin helps prevent new breakouts and improves skin texture over time, often showing visible results within 8 to 12 weeks when used consistently.

Important Note
Differin Gel should be used under medical supervision. It may initially cause dryness, redness, or irritation as your skin adjusts. Use sunscreen during the day, as retinoids increase sensitivity to sunlight. Do not apply to broken or sunburnt skin. Avoid using with other strong acne treatments unless instructed. If skin irritation becomes severe or does not improve, consult your doctor.
