Femoston Tablets are a combined form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT), designed for women experiencing menopausal symptoms. It is suitable for women with an intact uterus and is used to relieve common menopausal complaints such as hot flushes, mood swings, and vaginal discomfort. Femoston is available in several dose combinations to provide tailored therapy depending on symptom severity and individual hormonal needs.

How It Works
Femoston contains two hormones: oestradiol (a form of oestrogen) and dydrogesterone (a synthetic progestogen). Oestradiol replenishes the body’s declining estrogen levels during menopause, alleviating symptoms like hot flushes and night sweats. Dydrogesterone protects the endometrial lining of the womb from becoming thickened under the influence of oestrogen, reducing the risk of endometrial cancer. The sequential regimen mimics a natural cycle and is typically taken daily without a break.

Why Choose Femoston
Femoston offers a well-balanced and clinically proven formulation for HRT, available in varying strengths for stepwise management. Its dual-hormone composition is ideal for women requiring both oestrogen and progestogen. Unlike many older HRTs, Femoston is known for its improved tolerability and lower risk of breakthrough bleeding. It is a convenient, once-daily oral therapy, with a schedule that supports compliance and effective symptom control.

Important Note
Femoston is only suitable under the supervision of a healthcare provider. It should not be used by women with a history of hormone-dependent cancers, thromboembolic disease, liver disorders, or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Long-term HRT may carry risks such as cardiovascular events and breast cancer, which should be evaluated regularly with your doctor.

Can Femoston be taken long-term?

Femoston may be used long-term under a doctor’s guidance. Your treatment should be reviewed regularly to assess benefits and risks.

Femoston contains oestradiol and dydrogesterone, which together replace the falling hormone levels during menopause, providing symptom relief and protection for the womb lining.

Take one tablet daily at the same time each day, following the 28-day pack schedule. Swallow whole with water.

Femoston is suitable for women who still have their uterus. It is not suitable for those with a history of hormone-sensitive cancers, blood clots, or unexplained vaginal bleeding.
